Hi:

Nice job so far!  Please see attached lioness head drawings I did from the painting and example hulls of the J-109 sailboat.  Please forward these to your artist.

LIONESS Font:  Abadi MT Condensed, Extra bold Italic (from Photoshop CS2 software)

Lioness head:  Logo 1 & 2:  Currently looks slightly canine rather than snarling lioness from painting.  Please round off/soften angular nose and brow ridge to look more snarling lion-like.  See my attached drawings (especially second page).  Please rotate head so that throat is parallel to LIONESS Text to look like a stalking pose, rather than head being cocked back in a roaring pose, i.e., lion is moving foreward and stalking, not rearing back and roaring.  Similar profile to painting where head/throat is parallel to the ground.

Lioness Text:  Logo 1:  Reverse speed lines to reflect travelling in the same direction as the head.

Paw:  Logo 1 & 2:  Please make paw larger and center between top/bottom of text.  Rotate to 180 degrees (in line with text) with scratches trailing behind as if they were speed/movement lines.  Please shorten scratches to slightly more than the length of the paw to allow for scaling of overall logo (Overall length is 8 feet on a 36’ yacht hull).  No speed lines necessary on the heel of the paws.

Use the paw size seen in Logos 3-4 on Logos 1 & 2 (larger paw).

As per your recommendation, when delivering final .ai and .eps files, please also send separate files of each component in case customer/owner wants to use head and paws for separate parts of yacht as well.  We will also be embroidering head on a flag and possibly paw/scratch on clothing.

Thanks for everything.
